Joe Kabana

Joseph Kabana is a skilled professional in information security assurance with extensive experience in managing and executing cybersecurity audits. Currently serving as Senior Manager at Thoropass since April 2022, Joseph previously held multiple roles at Marcum LLP from November 2017 to April 2022, including Supervisor and Senior Associate in Cyber & IT Risk Advisory Services. Joseph managed over 50 engagements annually across various audit frameworks such as SOC 1/SOC 2, PCI, HITRUST, HIPAA, ISO, and DEA, and has significant expertise with cloud-based SaaS systems hosted in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Robert Morris University.
