Star Li

Star Li has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as the Head of Sales at GreenStack, Inc. where they sold their app, Vidappe, and integrated it within the new app called GreenStack. In 2013, they started their own business called Lendperk, an ecommerce shop specializing in selling and renting dresses. Star pivoted the business model from renting to selling dresses, leading to a significant increase in revenue. Star gained valuable knowledge about online retail and ecommerce during this time.

In 2014, Star Li joined Slim by Design as a Web Developer Lead. Star developed the web infrastructure for all Slim by Design web properties, which aimed to help restaurants, work sites, and grocery stores increase profits while promoting healthier eating habits.

Moving forward, Star Li pursued an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they were also a MBA Summer Associate at Deloitte. Star interned there for three months, contributing to the company's projects and gaining valuable experience in a consulting role.

After completing their MBA, Star Li transitioned to Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in 2016. Star served as the Manager of Strategy and Business Development until 2018, where they played a key role in developing and executing business strategies.

In 2018, Star Li worked as a Contractor at STIR Foods and Durami Poker for a short period of time. Following that, they joined InvestCloud, Inc. where they served as a Solutions Architect. Their role involved designing and implementing solutions to meet client needs, a position they held until 2021.

Most recently, Star Li joined BlackLine in 2021 as an Implementation Consultant. In 2023, they moved to Sum Theory, formerly known as Thoth Solutions, where they currently work as a Solutions Consultant with a specialization in Blackline.

Star Li pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Star Li completed a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, studying from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Star Li obtained certification as a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in April 2021.
