Senior Product Manager at Thought Industries

Jennifer Vu has a diverse background in product management and strategy consulting. Jennifer started their career at IBM iX, where they worked as a Senior Strategy Consultant. During their time there, they led a customer experience strategy phase and implemented an innovative SMB insurance platform for a Fortune 500 Global Insurance Provider. Jennifer also worked on a strategy engagement to establish the product vision and strategy for a redesign of a bank's securities trading platform for a Fortune 500 Banking & Financial Services Co.

After their role at IBM iX, Jennifer joined Thoughtblox as a Product Marketing Lead, where they crafted the core value proposition and messaging for an internal knowledge base tool for teams and communities.

Following their role at Thoughtblox, Jennifer took a sabbatical to pursue their passion for food and hospitality. Jennifer joined the opening team of Vinal Bakery in Boston as a Baker, working in full-time baking and front of house roles for a year.

Most recently, Jennifer has been working at Thought Industries, first as a Product Manager and currently as a Senior Product Manager. In their role, they lead the Learning Experience (LX) team and owns the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for approximately half of the LMS platform. Jennifer serves as a subject matter expert for core product areas, develops new features to improve user experience and scalability, and focuses on critical Admin user flows.

Jennifer Vu attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies. In 2013, they also had a brief stint at Maastricht University, where they studied Business Administration and Management. However, the specific degree obtained from Maastricht University is not mentioned.
