Andy Birds

Andy Birds is a seasoned Customer Experience, Product, and Design Leader based at Thoughtworks since June 2016, currently driving initiatives across Europe. With a strong background in product management and transformation, Andy has held various leadership roles including Global Product Community Leader and UK Head of Product, where responsibilities encompassed community development and coaching for over 400 Product Managers globally. Notable experiences include consulting for major organizations such as Auto Trader, BBC, and NHS Digital, focusing on product strategy, training, and operational models. Andy is also a co-organiser of ProductTank Manchester, fostering a local community of over 1,800 members. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Design from Liverpool John Moores University and a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design from Stockport College.
