Asad Rehman

Asad Rehman is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental advocacy and human rights. Currently serving as a Board Member for both Thousand Currents and the Rainforest Action Network, Asad has also held a strategic role as Director at War on Want since May 2017. Previously, Asad led international climate initiatives at Friends of the Earth from October 2006 to April 2017 and worked as a Parliamentary Assistant in the UK Parliament from April 2004 to July 2006. Asad's extensive background in activism includes a decade at Amnesty International UK as a Campaign Manager and foundational work as a Caseworker at the Newham Monitoring Project.
