Adam Serblowski

VP of Product at Thread

Adam Serblowski has over 14 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Adam is currently the VP of Product at Thread, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Shell for almost 9 years, where they served as the Robotics Engineer Lead for Surveillance Robotics from October 2017 to March 2022. In this role, they managed projects and led cross-functional teams to develop requirements and validation plans for new robotic technologies, resulting in breakthroughs such as the first commercial beyond line of sight drone deployment in the USA. Adam was also the owner of the Shell Surveillance Robotics Program, accelerating the maturation and deployment of robotic solutions across Shell's global footprint. Additionally, they were responsible for opportunity lifecycle management, leading to significant cost savings and reduced HSSE exposure.

Before joining Shell, Adam had roles at True North Automation as an Intermediate I Engineer from October 2012 to October 2013, Shaw Communications as a Network Engineer from January 2010 to October 2012, and SIGIT Group Inc. as an Intermediate II Programmer from July 2008 to January 2010. Adam also served as an Executive Committee Member at SPRINT Robotics from January 2015 to March 2022.

Adam Serblowski has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Regina. Adam obtained this degree, though the specific start and end years are unknown. In addition to their degree, Adam Serblowski holds certifications in BOSIET from Falck Safety Services (Global), which they obtained in April 2014, and as a Professional Engineer from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), which they obtained in November 2011.
