Patricia Tang

Patricia Tang has a diverse work experience that includes roles in product management, strategy consulting, venture capital, and journalism. Patricia is currently working at thredUP as a Product Manager for New Ventures, where they are responsible for scaling Resale-as-a-Service (RaaS) and leading the thredUP Future Fund. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager for RaaS, where they launched partnerships with brands like J. Crew, Kate Spade, H&M, and Tommy Hilfiger. Patricia also has experience in business operations and product management at thredUP. Patricia has previous experience at Strategy& as an Associate, where they worked on strategy consulting projects for F&B/Retail clients, and as a Summer Associate. Patricia also worked at Amino Capital, where they were involved in deal screening and strategic projects. Before that, they served as the Editor In Chief of Northwestern Business Review, leading a team of undergraduates and writing articles on various business topics. Patricia has also worked at Curology, where they supported marketing and product development efforts. Additionally, they have conducted economics research at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Patricia Tang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS), with a focus on Economics and Music, from Northwestern University. Patricia also completed their Pre-College education in Viola at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Henry M. Gunn High School. In addition to their formal education, Patricia obtained the Product Academy Fundamentals certification from McKinsey & Company in September 2022.
