Sara Bahri

Sara Bahri has a range of work experience in various industries. Sara started their professional journey as a Violinist from September 2010 to June 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Researcher in the Andersen Lab at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where they conducted research and attended weekly lab meetings. Sara also quantified the changes in bilayer elasticity for a project on aminoglycoside antibiotics' toxicity.

In 2021, Sara joined the Georgia Tech College of Sciences as a Petit Undergraduate Research Scholars Program participant. Sara then became an Undergraduate Researcher in the Lieberman Lab, where they conducted research, presented findings, and learned various protocols related to their project on site-directed mutagenesis.

In 2022, Sara held multiple roles. Sara worked as a GTOUE Social Media Intern at the Georgia Tech Office of Undergraduate Education. Additionally, they worked as a thredUP Brand Ambassador and a Clinique on Campus 2022 Brand Ambassador. Sara also returned to the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Andersen Lab.

Sara Bahri started their education at Lynbrook Senior High School in 2016 and obtained their High School Diploma in 2020. During their high school years, they were also recognized for their academic achievements and was admitted into the National Honor Society in January 2020. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. Sara is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology. Sara is expected to complete their undergraduate studies in 2024. In addition to their formal education, Sara has obtained certifications in Excel Essential Training from LinkedIn in May 2022 and the Girl Scout Gold Award from the Girl Scouts of the USA in August 2020.
