Kennel Techs has always had a passion for animals. They started out working at a local pet store before moving on to Three Little Pitties Rescue, where they have been working for the past two years. Kennel Techs enjoys working with the animals and helping to care for them. They are also responsible for cleaning the kennels and making sure that the animals have food and water.
A Kennel Tech generally needs a high school diploma or equivalent, although some jobs may require postsecondary education, and most employers provide on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for kennel technicians. The National Association of Kennel Technicians offers a voluntary certification program.
Kennel Techs reports to Cameron Dunn, Lead Boarding Attendant.
