Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. is a local, non-profit corporation which provides free civil legal services to low-income, eligible clients in seventeen counties throughout North Florida.

Our mission is to provide quality legal assistance to the poor, abused, disabled and elderly of North Florida and to empower and educate them through preventive legal education.

Three Rivers Legal Services was established in November 1977 after the merger of Storefront Legal Aid in Gainesville, Florida and a legal aid component of Suwannee River Economic Council in Live Oak. The new program first received funding from the Legal Services Corporation in 1978 to serve seven counties in North Central Florida. Five more counties were added in 1979 and in 2004 the program again expanded and now provides advice and legal assistance to low income persons in seventeen counties throughout North Florida.

The Legal Team at Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. provides comprehensive civil legal services to low-income, eligible clients across seventeen counties in North Florida. This includes offering legal advice, representing clients in civil cases, coordinating pro bono efforts, and conducting preventive legal education. The team is composed of staff attorneys, managing attorneys, paralegals, intake specialists, and legal interns who work collaboratively to ensure access to justice for the poor, abused, disabled, and elderly.
