Sheldon Inwentash

Sheldon Inwentash is the founder and current chairman and CEO of ThreeD Capital. A serial entrepreneur, Inwentash has over 30 years of investing experience and has been involved in raising $15 billion for their portfolio companies in the last 15 years. Sheldon is also a Chartered Accountant/Certified Professional Accountant.

Inwentash co-founded Visible Genetics in 1994, the first commercial pharmacogenomics company. The company was acquired by Bayer in 2001. Sheldon also led Pinetree Capital Ltd., where they made early investments in Queenston Mining, Aurelian Resources, and Gold Eagle Mines, among others. All three companies were later acquired by other firms. Inwentash received an honorary degree, doctor of laws (LL.D), from the University of Toronto in 2012.

Sheldon Inwentash graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom).
