Jairo Pico

Jairo Pico has over 19 years of experience in software engineering. From 2021 to present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Threedy GmbH - instant3Dhub, where they are currently working on the webVis/instant3Dhub platform. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Web/Database Software Developer, Android Developer, and Software Developer. HiWi Student at Fraunhofer IGD, where they worked on the webVis/instant3Dhub platform, as well as on the DHC's flagship application for Patient Health Monitoring. From 2008 to 2016, they were a Systems Analyst III at Porvenir S.A., where they were responsible for the evolution of various software projects, managing all respective life-cycle phases of software development. From 2005 to 2008, they were a Freelance Software Developer, working on software development for third parties. From 2002 to 2005, they were a Development Analyst at A Toda Hora S.A., and a Software Engineer at SONDA, where they were responsible for automatic processes and the implementation of an ActiveX Control.

Jairo Pico completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computational Engineering from Universität Rostock between 2014 and 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma Ingeniero Electrónico. Electronics Engineer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander between 1994 and 2001.
