Wim Allegaert

Wim Allegaert has a diverse work experience. Wim is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Threon - Strategy Delivered, a company specializing in program and portfolio management. Wim is responsible for ensuring that strategies are delivered on time and within budget. Prior to this, Wim worked as an Associate Partner at Ernest Partners, a debt advisory and funding company. Wim also served as a Board Member at TRUNCUS, a multi-disciplinary multi-family office and sustainable asset manager. In addition, Wim held various positions at the Belgian Investor Relations Association (BelIR), including Chairman of the Board of Directors. Wim has also been a member of the Advisory Board at Jimber and a Mentor at Birdhouse, an accelerator program for start-ups. Wim is the Founder of MJL Advice & Management, where they provided financial, communication, and investment advice and managed corporate governance frameworks. Wim also served as a Board Member at Truncus Partners. Prior to their current roles, Wim held positions at KBC Group, including General Manager Finance and General Manager of the Investor Relations Office. Wim also served as a Board Member at Concord Securities. Overall, Wim Allegaert has extensive experience in finance, strategy delivery, debt advisory, asset management, investor relations, and corporate governance.

Wim Allegaert has a diverse education history. In 1982, they attended Sint Jozefinstituut Kortrijk where they studied Latin and Mathematics. Later in 1988, they pursued a degree in Economics and obtained a Commercial Engineering degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from KU Leuven. In 1992, Allegaert attended ESSEC Business School, where they earned a Master's degree in Business and Economics, also with Magna Cum Laude honors. In 2001, they enrolled at The Wharton School and completed the WEMBA program, specializing in Investment Management. Subsequently, in 2013, Allegaert attended Hult Ashridge for a Business Communication Program. In 2016, they participated in a Leadership Program at Vlerick Business School. Finally, from 2022 to 2023, Allegaert joined Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for the Leading Sustainable Corporations Program, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
