David Ampofo

David Ampofo has worked in various roles since 2013. David began as a McNair Scholar Researcher and Head Research Assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park. In 2018, they took on roles as a Python Developer at Discovery Inc, a Content Data Specialist at Tesla Government Inc., and a Test Developer at American Institutes for Research. David also became a Graduate Student Presenter at the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Delaware University. In 2020, they took on the role of Python/Django Developer at GovReady PBC, and in 2021 they became a Software Engineer at Thresher.

David Ampofo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania between 2010 and 2015. David then obtained a Master of Science in Cognitive and Neural Systems Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2018. In the same year, they completed a Data Science program at The Data Incubator. David also has various certifications from DataCamp and other institutions, including Associate Level UTLP Instructor, Certificate of Completion - Inclusion and Diversity Workshop Series, Social/Behavioral Research with human subjects, and several courses in Python for Data Science.
