Abby Maddigan has a diverse work experience. Abby began their career in 2013 as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom. Abby then went on to intern at Pittsburgh Magazine, LA Weekly and Baked Magazine. In 2014, they worked as a Columnist for The Daily Orange, Editor in Chief for Equal Time Magazine and a Blogger for Baked Magazine. In 2015, they worked as a Customer Service Representative for McKesson and a Content Curator & Social Media Editor for Texture by Next Issue. Since 2017, they have been working for Thrillist Media Group in various roles, including Head of Partnerships, Associate Social Media Editor, and currently as Social Media Manager. In this role, they manage Thrillist's social team, develops creative strategies and promotional plans for editorial, video, branded, sponsored and social-first content, and coordinates talent and branding to implement sponsored campaigns on social channels.

Abby Maddigan attended Syracuse University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Magazine Journalism with a minor in Information Technology and Management. Prior to that, they attended Oakland Catholic High School from 2007 to 2011.
