Melissa Joffe has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Melissa began as a Statistical Assistant for Research at Cedars-Sinai in 2006. In 2012, they were hired as a Project Manager at E & M INVESTMENTS LIMITED, where they increased unit revenue by updating individual units and common spaces in multiple Los Angeles apartment buildings. In 2015, they joined Winc Wines as a Quality Assurance Specialist, and was quickly promoted to Head of Member Services. In 2018, they were hired as a Customer Experience Manager at JOANY, and was quickly promoted to Director Customer Experience. Melissa also worked as Senior Customer Experience Manager at Thrive Causemetics Inc. in 2018.

Melissa Joffe completed their Bachelor's Degree in American Literature (United States), Global Studies, and Near Eastern Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. During their time at UCLA, they also attended Tel Aviv University in 2011 and 2012, studying Near and Middle Eastern Studies and Hebrew.
