Cheryl Villegas-Ty

Cheryl Villegas-Ty is the People Operations Manager at Thrive Digital. Cheryl has over six years of experience in the Human Resources field.

Cheryl started their career as an Human Resources Intern (Co-op) at Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited in May 2012. Cheryl then completed a second co-op placement as a Human Resources Administrator (Co-op) at the Ledcor Group of Companies from September 2012 to December 2012. In February 2013, Cheryl completed a practicum placement as a Human Resources Intern at HootSuite.

After gaining valuable experience from their various internships and co-op placements, Cheryl landed their first full-time role as a People & Culture Specialist at Vega in June 2013. Cheryl worked at Vega for over three years before leaving to join Daiya Foods Inc as a Human Resources Associate in December 2017. Cheryl worked at Daiya Foods Inc for just under two years before joining their current company, Thrive Digital, as their People Operations Manager in August 2019.

Cheryl Villegas-Ty has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management - Co-op from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, as well as a Marketing Management Diploma from the same school.
