Carl Freeman

Carl Freeman, MBA, currently serves as Vice President of North American Operations at Thrive Freeze Dry since October 2023. Prior to this role, Carl held the position of Vice President at Ahold Delhaize from August 2020 to April 2023, where strategic leadership was provided for distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and reclamation initiatives in the Mid Atlantic region. From September 2010 to August 2020, Carl worked at Mars as Manufacturing Director with global accountability for the manufacture and distribution of Dove chocolate and cocoa liquor, along with serving as Site Director for key North American products. Earlier experience includes roles as Plant Manager at Hillshire Brands and General Mills, where Carl successfully managed manufacturing facilities and implemented strategic initiatives. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University and an MBA in Operations Management from Vanderbilt University.
