Tobi Olanrewaju

Tobi Olanrewaju has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various senior roles. They started their career as an intern at Electronic Systems and Software Consultants in 2008, where they gained experience in network service monitoring, equipment installations, and computer system upgrades and repairs.

In 2010, Tobi joined Access Solutions Ltd as a Software Developer, where they developed a technology framework for kiosk solutions and integrated POS and kiosk systems with the etranzact switch for seamless payments. They also studied and developed APIs for Silverbird ticketing and STB estates metering applications.

Continuing their career, Tobi worked at Liferon Technologies as a Technical Lead in 2016, before joining Shopp!ng Internet Services as a Senior Developer. In this role, they worked on developing geo-location applications, a cloud application for off-site staff tracking, and a platform for offering vouchers on e-commerce sites.

Tobi then moved on to various senior software engineering roles, starting with Venture Garden Group in 2017, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they contributed to the development of software projects.

In 2019, Tobi had overlapping roles at Melita Ltd., Flutterwave, and Andela as a Senior Software Engineer. At Melita Ltd., they worked on software engineering projects until mid-2020. At Flutterwave, they contributed to software engineering projects until the beginning of 2020. Then, at Andela, they continued working as a Senior Software Engineer until October 2020.

More recently, Tobi joined eCabs in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they have been working on software engineering projects since February 2021.

Currently, Tobi is working at Thrive Market as a Senior Software Engineer, starting from April 2020. They continue to contribute to software engineering projects in this role.

Tobi Olanrewaju attended the University of Ilorin from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2012, they also received the OCPJP certification from Oracle.
