Mario García

Mario García has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Mario currently serves as the Coordinador de Participación Ciudadana at Estuario since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Director de Operaciones Sostenibles at Thrive Natural Care from 2013 onwards. Mario also worked as a Guia Naturalista at Chill Expeditions from January 2014 to March 2020. Before that, they served as an Instructor de Biocursos y Voluntariados at Organización para Estudios Tropicales from January 2014 to January 2017. Mario's earlier experience includes working as a Coordinador de Proyectos at the Canadian Organization for Tropical Education and Rainforest Conservation from January 2003 to January 2007.

Mario García obtained their Bachelor's degree in Ecological Tourism from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
