Paloma Figueroa currently holds the position of Scholar Recruitment Manager at Thrive Scholars, starting in October 2023. Prior to this role, Paloma served as the StreetLeader Director at UrbanPromise Los Angeles from May 2022 to September 2023, and as a Program Assistant at the same organization from September 2020 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Education Intern at ImmSchools in March 2019 and an internship at UrbanPromise Charlotte in the summer of 2018, where responsibilities included advising low-income students of color on college applications and leading STEM lesson plans. Paloma earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women's, Gender, & Sexualities Studies from Elon University, graduating in May 2020.
