Tyra Anderson-Montina, M.Ed, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and program operations. Currently serving as the Senior Fellow at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and the President & COO at Thrive Scholars, Tyra previously founded Self Premier, an organization dedicated to holistic wellness retreats for young, professional women of color. Tyra's career includes significant roles at Year Up as Site Director - Greater Boston, where key responsibilities involved strategic planning, team management, and program execution to enhance student outcomes. Tyra holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management, as well as Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management & Arts Administration from The University of Tulsa.
