Zari Mahoney-Johnson, M.A. is an experienced education professional currently serving as the College Access Manager at Thrive Scholars since June 2022, where personalized college guidance and admissions support are provided to high-achieving students of color from under-resourced backgrounds. Previously, Zari held the role of Wolverine Pathways Program Coordinator and Success Coach at the University of Michigan from September 2015 to June 2022, overseeing a diverse cohort of over 600 middle and high school scholars and offering tailored support to individual students. Zari also contributed to campus inclusivity as the Dean of Student's Expect Respect Program Assistant, enhancing relationships among students through innovative initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
