Matt Johnston has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Matt is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Thrive, where they lead the development of a social impact platform. In these roles, they managed teams and ensured successful project delivery. Before Rapid7, Matt worked at Kainos, where they held positions as the Lead Solutions Architect of Emerging Technology, Technical Architect, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. In these roles, they demonstrated technical leadership and worked on different software development projects.

Matt Johnston attended Ulster University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
