Kristen Mahoney

Kristen Mahoney is an experienced school counselor currently serving at East Boston Central Catholic School as a School Counselor and City Connects Coordinator since August 2023. Kristen also provides supervision and socialization support as an Adult Companion with Thrive Support and Advocacy. Previous roles include Camp Counselor at Fay School, where Kristen planned activities and ensured safety for children, and School Counseling Intern at Marathon Elementary School, where over 600 hours of individual and group counseling were completed. Additionally, Kristen has held positions such as Testing Proctor at The Connors Family Learning Center and Graduate Research Assistant at Boston College Institute of Education Sciences. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Boston College Lynch School and a bachelor's degree from Colby College.
