David L.

David L. has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David started their career as a Web Developer apprentice at Thinkful/Bloc in February 2019 and later worked on projects such as the Rendezvous Events Dating App and the StreStack WebApp. In September 2019, David joined Comcast as a Full-stack Developer and worked there until November 2020. David then joined Finance of America Companies as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to February 2022. In March 2022, David became the Lead coding Instructor at ThriveDX (formerly HackerU). Currently, they hold the position of a Platform Engineer at Ally since February 2022 and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer.

David L. completed their education at Mississippi State University from 2016 to 2019, obtaining a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, they attended Belhaven University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Biochemistry and Visual Art Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, they have earned several certifications in various subjects such as data modeling, MongoDB administration and performance, AI programming with Python, and multiple Coursera course certificates in programming, data management, and statistical inference.
