Kevin May has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Kevin started their career at IBM in 2000, where they held several technical and managerial positions, including National IT Manager and New Business Leader. At IBM, they played a key role in infrastructure and technology strategy, researching and implementing new capabilities, as well as designing and implementing custom disaster recovery solutions.
In 2012, Kevin joined CaTECH Systems Ltd. as the Director of Strategic Accounts, and later became the Director of Sales in 2016. During their time at CaTECH, they worked closely with clients and sales teams, focusing on developing strategic accounts and driving sales growth.
In 2017, Kevin moved to Storagepipe, where they took on the role of Vice President of Sales. Kevin provided leadership to the sales, account management, and business development teams, while also collaborating with marketing and channel leadership. Kevin played a vital role in driving revenue growth and ensuring client and market needs were met.
Thrive acquired Storagepipe in April 2023, and Kevin continued their career as the Area Vice President - Canada at Thrive. Thrive is a leading provider of NextGen managed services, specializing in application enablement and optimization. In their current role, Kevin leverages their experience and expertise to drive business outcomes and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security for business applications.
Kevin May attended Loyalist College from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Networking Specialist. Their field of study focused on Technology, Security, and System Administration.
