Dylani Herath

Dylani Herath is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as an Engineering Leader for the Data Platform and ML at Thrivent, Dylani is responsible for driving data-driven digital financial solutions. Prior to joining Thrivent, Dylani held significant roles including Vice President of Software Engineering at Greenwood, where efforts focused on developing a financial platform for underserved communities, and Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, leading technology modernization for small business banking. Dylani's tenure at FIS as Sr. Director of Development involved overseeing global engineering teams for enterprise application modernization across digital banking platforms. Dylani is also an Executive Member of an invite-only group dedicated to supporting female leaders in executive positions. Dylani holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
