Jana Stern

Jana Stern is a seasoned professional in the event planning and management sector, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Event Planning at Thrivent since January 2022. Previously, Jana held roles as an Advisor at J. Sullivan Advisors and as the Business Owner of Stem to Stern Meetings, LLC, focusing on international and domestic meetings and incentives. With extensive experience at Voya Financial as an AVP of Meetings & Events, Jana led cost-saving strategies and enabled collaboration among meeting planners. Jana also spent 18 years at ING as the Director of Conventions and Conference Planning, where contributions included implementing company rebranding and creating a unified meeting planning team. Jana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and has education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
