Kiyrie Abernethy

Kiyrie Abernethy, CFA, currently serves as a Senior High Yield Analyst at Thrivent, having joined the company in September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Investment Analyst and various fixed income positions at Travelers from July 2018 to September 2023, as well as experience as a Center Desk Attendant at Norris University Center from January 2015 to June 2018. Kiyrie completed a Fixed Income Internship at Travelers in 2017 and contributed as a Community Analyst for campusCATALYST in early 2016, focusing on donor relations strategies for a local nonprofit. Earlier work experience includes customer service roles at Valleyfair Family Amusement Park and The Wendy's Company. Kiyrie is pursuing an MBA in Finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, expected to graduate in December 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, completed in 2018.
