Leah Furmanski

Leah Furmanski (Swanson) has a strong background in human factors engineering, with experience in leading design and development activities for medical products. Leah has held roles such as Director of Human Factors at THRIVE, Senior Principal Engineer-Human Factors at Baxter Healthcare, and Human Factors Scientist and Capability Lead at Aptima, Inc. Leah also has experience in teaching and research assistant roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Leah holds a Master of Science (MS) in Human Factors and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the same university. Leah has demonstrated skills in business development, technical development, and office management throughout their career.
