Christopher Hollingsworth

Christopher Hollingsworth, M.Ed., currently serves as a Resident in Counseling at Thriveworks, providing direct counseling services for various mental health needs since January 2021. Additionally, Christopher has experience as a Mental Health/Substance Use Case Manager at Horizon Behavioral Health, supporting individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues since October 2018. Previous roles include Clinician II, where Christopher provided intensive care for youth in crisis, and internships at Centra Health’s Adult Psychiatric Unit and Bridges Treatment Center, focusing on individual and group counseling for diverse age groups. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Lynchburg and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Randolph College.
