Carolina Montalvo

Carolina Montalvo is a seasoned clinical psychologist and co-founder of trypstate, specializing in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, integration, and harm reduction since January 2022. Montalvo has extensive experience in individual and group therapy across various settings, including current roles at the Thriving Center of Psychology and Monterroso Integrative Services, and previously worked at The Neurology Institute, focusing on psychological and neurological disorders utilizing modalities such as CBT and DBT. Montalvo's early career included positions in forensic psychology, providing services for mentally ill offenders, and a psychology internship with Miami-Dade County. Holding a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, both from Nova Southeastern University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University, Montalvo brings a comprehensive educational background to professional practice.
