Russell Borgmann

Russell Borgmann has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1992, they worked as a Principal at Greater Puget Sound, where they provided project management consultancy services. From 1994 to 1999, they served as an R&D Engineering Manager at Coinstar | Outerwall, leading the development of new coin counting technologies. At Terabeam Wireless from 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing the business aspects of product development for Free Space Optics telecommunication systems. From 2003 to 2007, they served as the Vice President of Technology at Hyperion Innovations | ColdHeat, leading a team that created innovative consumer products. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Lead Portfolio / Program Manager at BSQUARE Corp., managing software consulting programs for Fortune 500 clients. In 2012, they became the Director of Engineering, Technology & Product Development at 1•Of•A•Kind Technologies, where they focused on rapidly prototyping and developing Minimum Viable Products. From 2014 to 2020, they worked as the Principal at Sandia Enterprises LLC, providing technology management consulting services. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Senior Technical Program Manager, and in 2018, they became a Sr. Technical Program Manager (Systems) at Amazon Lab126, leading cross-functional hardware product development. As of 2023, they are the Head of Integration at Throne Labs.

Russell Borgmann holds a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, both in Mechanical Engineering. These degrees were earned at New Mexico State University. Additionally, Borgmann obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2008.
