Hemant Tripathi, PhD, is a highly experienced professional specializing in species distribution modeling, GIS, and ecology. Currently serving as the FoSTA Health Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, Hemant focuses on the one-health impacts of agricultural transformation in southern Africa, employing an interdisciplinary approach to analyze health, diets, and well-being. As a GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist at Thryve.Earth, Hemant develops innovative tools for land use analysis and carbon credit projects. Hemant co-founded DTIME.AI and Ecobasics Ecology Consultancy, and held roles at UNEP-WCMC, the University of Leeds, and the University of Edinburgh, contributing significantly to various ecological and biodiversity studies.
