Roya G. has extensive work experience in content writing and media relations. In 2021, they began as a Brand Content Writer for Thuma. From 2011-2021, they worked at the University of Portland in various roles, including Web Content Specialist and Staff Writer, Staff Writer, and Media Relations Assistant. In 2011, they were a Digital Accounts Intern at Prichard Communications. From 2008-2009, they worked at the University of Portland Bookstore as a Store Supervisor. Finally, from 2009-2011, they were a Living Editor and Staff Writer at The Beacon-University of Portland.

Roya G. began their educational journey at West Linn High School, where they graduated in 2007. Roya then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Sociology at the University of Portland, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained a Certificate in Web Writing for Higher Education from Higher Ed Experts.
