Lisa Lounsbury, MA, LMFT, ATR-BC, is a seasoned Executive Director and Board Certified Art Therapist at Art Lab Rx, a mobile mental health counseling agency focused on art therapy and wellness workshops. With extensive experience spanning several organizations, Lounsbury provides tailored art therapy services to diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and specialized groups for suicide prevention and addiction recovery. Current roles include Art Therapist at Parasol Wellness Collaborative, Touchstone Mental Health, NUWAY, and THUMBS UP HIGH 5K, among others. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Adlerian Counseling & Psychotherapy with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Adler Graduate School, along with additional certifications and a strong foundation in the arts and social sciences.

MISSION STATMENT Bringing awareness to mental health and providing support and resources to all. THUMBS UP was founded in 2014 by several community members who lost loved ones to suicide. THUMBS UP is all about EMBRACING those who are struggling and breaking the stigma around mental health. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about their feelings and challenges and to “KEEP MOVING FORWARD”. We are dedicated to educating and teaching about mental illness, the warning signs of suicide, what you can to do help others who struggle and community awareness initiatives.
