Alex Karp

Alex Karp is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Thumbtack since December 2022. Previously, Alex served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Twitter from March 2020 to June 2022, leading the Media Foundation Client teams across iOS, Android, and front-end Web. Prior to Twitter, Alex held the position of Senior App Engineering Manager at Wayfair, contributing to the growth of the mobile engineering team from 7 to over 150 members. Alex's earlier experience includes software development roles at Microsoft and internships at NVIDIA, KAYAK, 211info, and Vernier Software & Technology. Alex earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where also worked as a Student Teaching Assistant.
