Laura Arrubla Toro

Laura Arrubla Toro is an accomplished public relations professional with extensive experience, currently serving as Group Manager of Public Relations at Thumbtack since April 2021, following roles as Senior Communications Manager and Communications Manager. Prior to Thumbtack, Laura worked at DKC from February 2016 to April 2021, where notable positions included Public Relations Account Supervisor and Senior Public Relations Account Executive, earning the Peter Seligman Award of Excellence twice. Laura co-founded DKC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and has worked with a diverse array of clients, including Marvel Comics and New York Comic Con. Earlier career positions included roles at Their Campus New Paltz, Bootleg Yoga and Fitness, and Breast Cancer Options. Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the State University of New York at New Paltz and studied at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis.
