Jim Shepherd

Jim Shepherd has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jim started their career as a Senior Computer Scientist at CSC in 1983 and held this role until 1995. Jim then worked as a Manager of Project Engineering at Telesciences Inc from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they joined LMCO MS2 where they served as a Principal Member Engineering Staff from 2005 to 2007 and later as a Technical Director from 2008 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at LMCO Aeronautics as a Senior SPL SW Engineer. Subsequently, they joined LMCO RMS in 2016 and held the positions of Senior Systems Engineer and SPL Architect until 2020 when they became the SSDS CSEA Chief Architect until 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Solutions Architect at Thunderbolt Solutions.

Jim Shepherd received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Montclair State University. The timeline for this education is unknown. Jim then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, which they completed between 1991 and 1995. Later on, Jim obtained another Master of Science (MS) degree, this time in Systems Engineering, from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they completed between 2008 and 2013.
