Carina Venter

Carina Venter currently serves as the Executive Head of Safety, Health and Environment at Thungela Resources South Africa, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Carina held several significant positions at Anglo American Coal South Africa, including Head of Safety and Health and Divisional Safety Manager for Coal SA. With a strong focus on creating and implementing safety strategies and improvement plans across multiple operations, Carina brings extensive experience in safety management from various roles in the coal mining sector, starting as a Safety Officer at Anglo American Thermal Coal in 2004. Carina's academic credentials include an MBA and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, complemented by a National Diploma in Safety Management.
