Shiraz Ibrahim

Shiraz Ibrahim currently serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for District 4 and Legislative Liaison at the American Student Dental Association, while also participating in the ASDA Pre-Dental Liaison Committee. As a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and Honors College President at Tennessee State University, Shiraz engages in leadership and advocacy roles, including presidency of the Dr. Levi Watkins Jr. Society and mentorship through the Tennessee Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. A researcher focused on hydraulic fracking's impact on underrepresented communities, Shiraz also gains experience as a Pharmacy Technician at Kroger Health and has participated in various health-focused internships and volunteer positions, including with Medicare's SHIP program. Shiraz is pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College, following a Biochemistry degree from Tennessee State University.
