Guido Pohlig

Guido Pohlig is an experienced logistics and procurement professional with a career spanning over three decades in the steel industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager Logistics at thyssenkrupp Steel since October 2018, Guido Pohlig has previously held the position of Head of Procurement for Alloys, Metals, Refractories, Scrap, and Additives at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe since October 2005. Prior to this, Guido Pohlig spent nearly two decades at Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann GmbH, where roles included Head of Raw Materials Purchasing and responsibilities in Raw Materials Purchasing. Guido Pohlig's educational background includes a degree as a Foreign Language Correspondent from Inlingua in 1987 and a qualification as an Industrial Clerk from Hüttenwerke Mannesmann in 1983.
