Sarel Coetzee

Sarel Coetzee is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in business intelligence and data engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Devoteam since June 2024, Sarel previously held the position of Business Intelligence Consultant at DycoTrade CTRM from February 2022 to May 2024, where contributions included developing customized data sets and BI reports for commodity trading firms. Prior to this, Sarel worked at Standard Bank Group for nearly nine years as a BI Developer, focusing on CMI Reporting and regulatory project automation using SQL Server and ETL processes. Initial career experiences include roles as a BI Consultant at Adapt IT Holdings and Fraser Alexander, and as a Junior BI Consultant at BIPS. Sarel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both obtained from North-West University.
