Charlie is esteemed for his finesse in client engagement and customer relations in his role as TIAG’s general manager, overseeing daily operations, contractual performance and all IMIT support services for TIAG’s military health portfolio.
Bringing strong leadership skills and 20 years’ experience advancing Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) initiatives, he draws from extensive expertise in information technology and business planning, along with program and program management.
In his results-oriented approach to leadership, Charlie understands the individual needs of all stakeholders in reaching desired objectives. Sharing a mutual commitment to achieve outstanding results, he offers sage counsel and assistance to TIAG directors.
Guiding the direction of each contract, Charlie empowers TIAG directors to build strong customer relationships and implement successful strategies with best practices and technologies. Ensuring superior performance in deliverables, he provides director oversight for employee recruitment and team coordination, identifying top-notch talent for military health programs.
Cognizant that employee capability and job satisfaction are crucial to successful customer missions, Charlie fosters the professional development and career happiness of TIAG directors and employees supporting military health customers. Adept at identifying incentives that make each individual feel valued, Charlie’s mentorship and motivation amplifies TIAG’s esprit de corps.
Since joining TIAG in 2005, Charlie has been personally engaged with almost every TIAG customer. Advancing from program and project manager to managing director, Charlie has led multi-disciplinary teams of technical and business professionals and delivered outstanding results for numerous organizations — among them, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General, and Army Medical Research and Materiel Command.
Previously, as an officer in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, Charlie polished his leadership style while serving in numerous command positions, including company commander of Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
