Gurjit Nijjar

Gurjit Nijjar has over 25 years of professional experience in various engineering roles. Gurjit began their career in 1991 as a System Design Engineer at Amdahl Corporation. Gurjit then worked as a Design Engineer at Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. from 1993-1995. During this time, they also worked as an ASIC Consultant from 1995-1996. In 1996, they joined Hewlett Packard as a Design Engineer. Gurjit then moved to Calix Networks (Optical Access Networking startup) in 2000 as an ASIC Engineer. In 2002, they joined Crimson Microsystem (Telecom Semiconductor Startup) as a Sr. ASIC Engineer. Gurjit then worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Alcatel USA from 2003-2007. In 2007, they joined Broadcom as a Sr. Staff IC Design Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Oracle as a Principal ASIC Verification Engineer. Finally, they have been a Principal ASIC Engineer at Tibit Communications, Inc. since 2017.

Gurjit Nijjar is currently enrolled at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension.
