Matthew Woolway

Matthew Woolway serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Ticker since October 2022 and holds a position as a Visiting Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg. Previously, Matthew worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at The Floow from August 2021 to October 2022. Prior experience also includes a Teaching Fellow role at Imperial College London and various lecturer and associate lecturer positions at the University of the Witwatersrand from January 2013 to April 2020. Matthew earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Process Engineering, a Master of Science (MSc) in Computational and Applied Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BScHons) in Computational and Applied Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics and Computational and Applied Mathematics, all from the University of the Witwatersrand.
