Tickmill is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly expanding.
The successful candidate will be a part of an experienced team whose role would be to design, build, deploy and continuously operate highly available cloud-based systems through fully automated deployment processes. Supports and maintains processes and infrastructure around it. Ensures infrastructure, build/deployment systems and development environments follow the best security practices and guidelines. Strives to improve the way things are done. Candidate agrees and follows the principals of “Everything is code”, “You run it, you own it”, “Documentation is for yourself first”.

What the job looks like?
The DevOps Engineer will have the opportunity to:
-Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and underlying AWS infrastructure
-Services, tools and applications on Kubernetes
-Supporting services such as Consul, Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, etc
Maintain up to date application images and addressing common vulnerabilities and exposures in them.
Support development teams with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and monitoring.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
Degree or Diploma in Computer science or other relevant to the role.
Experience of 3-5 years in similar position.
Fluency in English (both written and oral).
Experience with Linux, cloud networking and computing, PKI.
Scripting skills (bash/python/etc).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Automation and Continuous Integration/Deployment.
Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ensure artifacts and baselines are kept current, addressing critical CVEs in collaboration with relevant teams.
Enhance the developer experience (DevEx) by streamlining processes—from onboarding to production deployment.
It will be considered as a plus if you have:
Any experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Helm. As well as GitHub administration and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
