Jim Grooms

Jim Grooms, CPA has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Jim currently serves as the President of TICO Manufacturing at Terminal Investment Corporation. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at TICO and Navistar Defense. During their time at Navistar Defense, Jim demonstrated their ability to successfully implement key actions to effect company goals and has experience with business launches, consolidations, and turn-around situations. Jim also held various leadership positions at Navistar Inc, where they were responsible for segment profit and loss, logistics, sustainment, and the creation of a sustainment business. Jim started their career as a Logistics Officer in the USMC, specializing in Acquisition & Military Logistics.

Jim Grooms, CPA, holds a Bachelor's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Auburn University, which they received in 1993. Jim also completed their Master of Accounting degree in Accounting at Strayer University in 2017. In 2004, Jim obtained an MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from Naval Postgraduate School. Jim also holds a BS in Management from Auburn University Harbert College of Business, which they obtained in 1993. Jim Grooms has various certifications, including Certified Public Accountant from VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy, acquired in June 2019. Additionally, they obtained the Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) certification from SOLE-THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF LOGISTICS, INC. A/K/A SOL in 2010. Furthermore, Jim has certifications in Acquisition Program Management Level II from Defense Acquisition University in 2007 and Acqusition Logistics Level III from Defense Acquisition University in 2006.
