Don Brown

Don Brown has a strong background in IT and infrastructure support, with over 17 years of experience. Don is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Tic:Toc since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior System Administrator at HAMBS for 8 years, where they supported a multi-tenant virtualized hosting environment and worked on migrating workloads to AWS. Don was also a Windows Server Administrator at Flinders University, where they worked on various server configuration and maintenance projects. Before that, Don worked as an IT Systems Engineer at Vesta Payment Solutions, managing the IT infrastructure and providing support for a real-time payment processing environment. Don started their career as a Network Administrator at AMT-SYBEX, where they gained experience in network and IT support, maintenance, and user training. Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated strong technical skills and the ability to work with customers, third-party contractors, and colleagues.

Don Brown graduated from the University of Sunderland with a degree in BA Computer Studies in 2002. Before that, they completed an HND in Computing from the same university in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Don obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate in November 2018 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in August 2018.
